I discovered the nearside sill is rather rusty. My plan is to patch it up with fibreglass until the end of the summer, and then attempt a full rebuild of both sills, with new welded sections. We'll see how that turns out!
Anti-rust paint next. In trying to find the right paints, I also discovered that - according to the archives held by the Morgan company - the car was originally "Moscovitch Blue" which is the light blue colour. At some point before 2006 the wings were painted in "Isis Blue", which seems to be a Ford colour. There's a receipt for the two different touch-up paints dated 2006 among the various documents that came with the car from the original owner.
