I have made a patch, and managed to reuse some of the existing bolts - one was too rusty and needed to be cut off. Luckily the bulkhead was not too badly rusted - surface rust only. So a good clean-up, rust proofing and paint was all I did on that. Then a series of "stitch" welds joins the new to the old, plus a few tack welds on the other side, because there is about 1 cm of overlap.
Now I need to clean up and repaint the rest of the inner wing, and some of the front suspension, steering and bumper support bars.
That's one side done. I'm about to tackle the wing, then move onto the other one ....
