Morgan renovation

All 5 wheels have been shot-blasted (Redditch Shotblasting Ltd) and powder-coated in chrome silver. They look very smart. Here's they are before (dirty and cleaned), back on the car, and now after the refurbishment ... I'm now applying PVC tape to protect the inner tubes from the heads of the spokes, and will then get the tyres back on - 3 are OK, 2 will need to be replaced.

Bulkhead

I have cleaned, de-rusted and painted as much of the bulkhead as possible, without removing the engine or windscreen wiper motor, which seems very tricky to get at, with bolts behind the ECU wiring in the passenger leg well. Here are before, during and after photos. The bottom part of the inner wing isn't easy to reach, but I hope to get better access once the wings are removed, and so part of the engine compartment is still to be done. Scraping away the paint and underseal did unfortunately reveal a hole right through the nearside inner wing, just above the chassis. Welding needed.

Weather proofing

The car sat under a cover for a few weeks, but I soon realised that it needed better protection. So I started to build a small car port over the Christmas holidays. The plan is to use a box-section corrugated steel roof and to paint the rafters black. First the posts and main rafters Then the rest of the rafters Then the roof and a bit of storage tucked up under the roof.
